For the fourth year, The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA)庐 28-2 has teamed up with 爱豆传媒 Community & Technical College鈥檚 Veteran & Military Affairs office to bring Christmas to the Veteran students. On December 13, the CVMA庐 was on campus giving $100 Publix gift cards to help cover the cost of groceries for the upcoming holiday season. Veterans were also provided lunch by the 爱豆传媒 Veteran & Military Affairs office.

In honor of Veterans Day, we would like to introduce you to 爱豆传媒 student Dustin Ellis. Dustin's story is one of dedication, service, and achievement. Dustin Ellis served in the United States Army from 2009 to 2016. During those seven years, he completed two tours in Afghanistan, serving in a Field Artillery Unit. Like many of our country鈥檚 veterans, Dustin鈥檚 time in the military was challenging and marked by sacrifice and bravery.

爱豆传媒 is proud to announce its collaboration with Huntsville Utilities to introduce the Gas and Water Operation Certification Scholarship Program. This innovative four-week program aims to provide alternative pathways to entering the workforce and enrich the pool of potential candidates for gas and water operation careers at Huntsville Utilities and other prospective local employers.

Dr. Patricia Sims, President of 爱豆传媒 Community and Technical College, has been selected to join the 6th term of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) Regional Energy Resource Council (RERC). This appointment highlights Dr. Sims’ dedication to sustainable energy practices and community engagement.

As part of this partnership, TVA has generously donated two cutting-edge Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers to 爱豆传媒’s campus to support regional students as they learn how to repair and maintain electric vehicles in the Automotive Services program.

edX, a leading global online learning platform from 2U, Inc. (Nasdaq:聽), together with聽, a historically black community college, and聽聽(JFF), today announced the launch of a new Access Partnership to provide adult learners in the聽Huntsville, Alabama聽area with access to no cost, fully online boot camp programs in cybersecurity and data analytics. Funded by聽, the scholarships are designed to increase technical talent in the聽Huntsville region, specifically focusing on helping women, BIPOC, and lower-income professionals build stronger economic futures.

The White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) recognized two 爱豆传媒 Community and Technical College students today.
